Add devices by coordinate, one at a time or a hundred at once.
Not every device gets placed by eye. When you have surveyed coordinates from a site plan, a GPS unit or an as-built drawing, Pin Input takes them directly. Choose the hardware type, enter the latitude and longitude, set a status, give it a name, and the device appears on the map. Leave the ID blank and the next number is assigned for you; type your own if your equipment already carries asset tags.
For a whole site at once, use the bulk paste box. Copy the rows straight out of Excel or Google Sheets and paste them in. Tabs and commas are both understood, device types accept either the shape name or the hardware name, and any row that cannot be read is skipped and reported rather than silently dropped. A hundred devices takes one paste and one click.
At a glance:
- Precise entry by latitude and longitude
- Automatic or manual device IDs
- Pull coordinates straight from the current map center
- Bulk paste directly from a spreadsheet
- Forgiving of tabs, commas, and either naming convention
