Group Assignments

Decide exactly who watches what.

Group Assignments is where coverage is drawn. Choose a group and you are given two lists side by side: the people who could be in it, and the devices it could watch. Tick what belongs. The counts update as you go, and the change is immediately visible everywhere else in the console.

The relationship runs both ways without limit. One person can sit in as many groups as their role demands, and a supervisor might appear in every one. One device can be watched by as many groups as you need, so a critical asset can be covered by both the local team and an escalation tier at the same time. When that device trips, both groups are notified, and anyone who belongs to both is contacted once, not twice.

That single rule is what lets a real organization be modeled honestly: overlapping responsibilities, shared assets and layered escalation, without duplicate calls.

At a glance:

  • Two tick lists: people in the group, devices it watches
  • One person in many groups, one device in many groups
  • Overlapping contacts are notified once
  • Coverage visible from the registry and contact list
  • Changes apply instantly
