The moment a sensor trips, the right people know.
Alert Dispatch is the part that reaches out. When a device is triggered or stops reporting, it composes a message and sends it by email and text to every contact in every group watching that device, de-duplicated, so nobody is messaged twice.
Every message carries the full picture: the device ID, the hardware type, the pin name, latitude and longitude, the nearest street address, the date and time, and the status. A responder reading it on a phone at two in the morning has an address to drive to and a device to look for, with nothing else to look up.
Delivery is deliberately server-side. Your mail and SMS credentials live on your own installation, never in a public web page where they could be copied. A rate limit, a per-device cooldown and a simulate mode that sends nothing mean the system can be configured and rehearsed safely before a single real message goes out. Every attempt is logged with its delivery result, and anything that fails can be retried.
At a glance:
- Email and SMS on trigger and on loss of reporting
- Full device detail in every message, including street address
- Sent to every watching group, de-duplicated across them
- Credentials held on your server, never in the page
- Cooldown prevents alert storms
- Simulate mode for safe setup and drills
- Complete delivery log with retry and CSV export
