Technical Description

Scott Secure is a browser-based perimeter sensor console that runs entirely inside a single web page. It presents a movable, resizable multi-window workspace — a scrollable Google map, a live alert monitor, a device registry, and dedicated windows for pin entry, region presets, contacts, monitoring groups, assignments, and alert dispatch.

Field hardware is mapped as shape-coded pins: triangles for Smart Sensor Pods, squares for MCU Edge Hubs, circles for Conduit Plugs. Each carries an ID label, live status color — green operational, red alert, yellow non-functional — plus latitude, longitude and a reverse-geocoded street address. Devices are added by clicking the map, typing coordinates, pasting spreadsheet rows, or importing CSV. Everything is stored locally in the operator’s own browser; nothing is uploaded.

Region presets snap the view to preconfigured city bounding boxes and load their device sets. Monitoring groups link any number of contacts to any number of pins, in both directions.

When a sensor trips or stops reporting, Scott Secure composes an alert carrying the device ID, type, name, coordinates, street address, timestamp and status, and dispatches it by email and text message to every contact watching that pin — through your own web server, so API credentials never reach the public page.
